Forgive my poor English.
I use UE5.4.4, HWRT is on. Use lumenGI and lumen reflection.
When the screen space traces turned on in lumen reflection, I get the ghost image like this picture.
And sometime there’s a boundary between the screen space traces reflection and lumen reflection.
Like the result in the blue circle on this picture.
This result is not just in the preview window, when I render it, I get this picture with the blue color of the hair remains on the wall.
But when I pause this sequence in preview, the hair stop moving and the bule will not remind on the wall after about 0.2s.
I think that’s because the screen space reflection was blocked by the hair so the reflection use lumen, but when the hair was gone, the reflection use screen space traces.
And I found there is something wrong in the screen space traces like this picture.
The reflection of leaves looks not good. And when I cant see the leaves, the reflection use lumen. There is the example.
The quality of the reflection is bad when i can’t see the leaves and the wall so i think that’s because it use lumen reflection.
Also, the reflection of the leaves is dark.
About the reflection of ABC file Geometry cache and fbx actor are very dark.
This is in Lit view.
I have turn on the hit lighting.
The place I can’t see is black.
When I turn off the screen space traces, the reflection of the actor become black, but everything else is well.
