Hi ps2invader,
After dissecting the FBX it seems there are several issues that maybe causing it.
- It has two joint trees. It has the standard Bone Hierarchy, but there is another Mesh Joint tree that doesn’t seem necessary
- A camera reference (which shouldn’t be implemented through the bone system)
- A hip/thigh controller that doesn’t seem necessary
- Two dummy bones
- It’s all rooted under a Reference node instead of just the All bone
Fixing these could make the character usable but it would have to be completely re-skinned. I’m not sure what software you are using but we have extensive documentation on how to setup a character for UE4 with the Maya plugin ART.
