The folder path is invalid

I just downloaded unreal engine, and when I try to create a new project int he Unreal Project Browser it says “The folder path is invalid” under project location and create is greyed out. How do I fix this issue? thanks!

Does the path have spaces or special characters in the name? ( or is it very long ).

ahh I see, yes I can open it up to choose a different path

i think they clicked on the folder icon and chose a different path

Downloaded unreal 5 to parallels on Mac. Got the same issue.
My solution: click on the folders icon of the files’ path. go to the ‘Local disk’ under ‘This pc’ and make a folder ( I named it ‘unreal’) and click on ‘choose folder’ later.
