**Project Title: The Flame in the Flood
Description: We are looking for a 2D or 3D artist to help supplement our core team. We have internal talent to cover both, so we’re looking to reduce workload on our artist who can do either. The game features a unique illustrated art style, and is being art directed by Scott Sinclair, formally the art director on Bioshock and Bioshock Infinite.
2D art needs: We’re looking for someone to help out with the large volume of supplementary content needed for commercial release, including things like achievement icons and store art.
3D art needs: We’re looking for someone who can model environment and character assets in a way that matches our existing style, which is low poly and hand painted.
We are a funded professional team, and are looking to add another professional to the roster for a short term contract. This is paid. Rates are variable, and will be based on the individual contractor.
The game itself is a 3/4 overhead view survival game, in which you travel by raft and on foot with your canine companion, trying to stay alive in an unforgiving wilderness. We’re currently on Steam early access.
Team Name: The Molasses Flood
Team Structure: We’re a flat structure, consisting of 6 industry veterans. We’ve all worked together in the past on various projects, including Bioshock Infinite and Rock Band.
Previous Work: This is our first project as a team, however we’ve worked individually on titles such as Bioshock, Bioshock Infinite, Halo 2 and 3, Rock Band, Guitar Hero, Medal of Honor, and more.
