The file decryption key is not valid

No, there are no issues. The coordinates are as they should be.
Can you also share your whole Export Model settings (also, would it be possible share it in English language)?

I try to use English descriptions, but my English level is not particularly good, and some descriptions may not be particularly accurate

This is my export setting. The model does not show the error that the vertices are too large in reality capture. Only after exporting the model and then importing it into 3DMAX will it show that the vertices are too large.

I see only one difference here to the pre-defined settings and it is the Number format. Can you change it back to Decimal (0.017)? The other settings are OK.
I also tested your settings and for me the model was exported correctly. So no sure what could be wrong there.
Have you tried also to delete the cache, then clean install, create new project and then export of the model?

I have tried all the methods you mentioned, whether it is modifying the digital format or reinstalling, then creating a project and then exporting. None of them can solve this problem, but this problem does not occur when I make other models. I also feel very puzzled.

By reinstalling do you mean uninstalling and then new install? If so, it is different to a mentioned reset (Make it like a clean install). Have you tried both option?
It is really strange as it is not happening for other projects. Do you have the option to process this project on some another machine?
Can you make a video of your export process with subsequent import to some 3rd party application?

I have tried both options. Do you mean that I will send you a video of the production and export process to see if there are any problems?

Yes, I meant that.
Also, I checked the rcInfo file and for your model there is the infinite transformation. That could be the reason of your results:

Also, you had set exportCoordinateSystemType=“3”, which means you used other settings as a Grid (in this case it is the same as XMP). Is that right? Also, it seems you have set it as mesh parts. But these settings are different to ones which you are showing in your print screens. All your exported models have this strange values in rcinfo file?

I just checked the rcinfo files of all models, and only this model with errors has this strange value in the rcinfo file.

Regarding the exportCooperativeSystemType=“3” you described, I don’t quite understand what you mean.

What do you mean by all models? Are those the models from other project using other images or also other models from the same images? Each export from that project provides the mentioned errors?
Type 3 is for Same as XMP coordinate system setting. In your previous messages you mentioned only the Grid system, but the model you sent wasn’t exported in the grid system. But it should work also for that setting, it was just a note.

All models refer to using other images to build models. Only the model I shared with you will have this error.

解决了吗?兄弟 @sucsnake

请问密钥的问题如何解决的,我也遇到了……

Hi @boying222,
have you tried the mentioned fixies from above?

hi, im having a similar issue. when i save a file with rc for the first time it tells me it is gonna resave in ppi, then if i save it a second time it lets me press save and unlock from ppi, after that i wont be able to modify the project as it tells me error in decrypting key. in both cases, after first or second save, if i close the program and reopen the project it still gives me the decryption file error. i uninstalled an older version of rc i had, deleted every file in program files, app data and deleted registry, reinstalled but still error. Before deleting all those files the error was a bit different as i still had decrypting key error but with the message error 7126 and component 0 missing.

apparently i managed to solve the problems so ill share the solution which worked for me. Go to the installation folder of rc and while pressing shift click on the exe rc file, click on reset all program files and on make clean install. now it saves and re opens files without issues

If I decide to save, the next time I get the infamous “decryption key is invalid”. All methods of fixing checked, clean install, cleaned registry keys.

Ok, I think I fixed it. Steps:

  • uninstall Epic Game Launcher.
  • Install RC from .msi to Program Files/etc
  • use Shift to make it reset what is possible there and make it like clean install

Only then it redirected me to my Epic Games account and successfully linked it with RC. I am not sure but I think the issue is due to RC not being able to recognize the user (despite showing him as logged in when you clikc “?”), because when I first installed RC a long while ago, it failed to link RC with EG (it redirected but failure was an outcome), thus probably it ran like in a demo mode until next license tick.
