But all that saving fuel cells and such ruins fun of having/using power armor. Also i tend to roleplay those games (ie i do not use fast travel much, and i do not abuse game mechanics). Best use of power armor so far was plasma flamethrower in close quarters, maybe can be good for melee build also, but for sniper is pointless (and jetpack+targeting computer) come very late in game (need level 41 for it).
And power armors do not add that much to character power, you are stronger in power armor but you can forget any stealth, getting close to drop blue smoke grenade (will not spoil for what it is) is quite hard in power armor. IMO it does not add enough to be really useful, its great and cool, brings nostalgia (in FA1 & 2 power armor was something that matters), but that is it. I finished fallout, and i found X-1 armor, fully upgraded it (jetpacks and targetting computer) it was cool for roof hooping and sniping what was left alive in city.
As to dogmeat i feel like this is best dog implementation ever, its broken AI is so broken that it emulates stupidity of dogs perfectly, dogmeat behaves just like that. You try go somewhere, well there is dogmeat right in doorframe, you try to move back, dogmeat already behind you, you try to sneak past that supermutant, just forget, dogmeat will bring you 2 or 3 more for fun. I had dog just like that (besides fetching more supermutants), and dogmeat behaves perfectly.
Now I am starting new (probably last before some serious mods are out) run on survival level (but with ammo mod, also easy lockpicking and hacking (remove guessing, but skill checks are in place)).
Ps. I installed mod that allows to create ammo, and i think fusion cells are on list.
PPs. i double checked what is needed for adhesive: you cook some soup (in cooking, utility) from corn, tomato, multifruit, water, and it breaks into 5 adhesives.
