The event hit does not trigger when I hit the static mesh actor.

Hey. Could someone tell me why the hit event in the actor doesn’t trigger when I hit a static mesh actor that has mobility set to static, physics set to false, and generate hit event set to true? When I change mobility to stationary, it starts working. When I scale it 5000 times, it starts working. When I enable physics, it also works. I would like it to remain on static mobility without physics enabled and at normal scale and work. I also changed the collision settings, tried different ones, but it doesn’t help. There is a collision, but the hit event is not triggered. And I need to trigger a sound after the hit. Could someone help?

Hey @HiImGh0st!

It sounds like a small setting here or there, a checkbox not checked et cetera. Something simple but easy to overlook. Would you mind bringing some visuals so we can put eyes on it? Are you sure you don’t need on event begin overlap? Also how small is the collision? It needs to be at least 10uu in every direction to register, I believe.

Hope that helps, get back to us soon!
