the engine its self worked fine a couple days ago, but after installing visual studios to create scripts, UE4 just wont start. when i slick “launch” t start the engine, it says “loading…” but shortly after goes right back to “launch”. so far i’ve tried 1) waiting for and hour to see if its just taking forever to load. 2)uninstalling and reinstalling both UE4 4.10.1 and the UE4 launcher. after doing both these things… i still get the same result. any help?

Try the troubleshooting steps in this section of the troubleshooting guide.
If nothing works, follow the steps here to generate your Debug Logs. Post them here, along with your Dxdiag/system specs.
If you remove Visual Studio does it solve the problem? Considering you mentioned that this was when the problem began, then it’d be a good place to start.
