The Default Static Mesh do not trigger Overlap Event

Import fbx file to unreal, then drag to env.
the static mesh do not trigger overlap event.
after my test.
i found that.you must check the Generate Overlap Events in Collision Setting.
But…
i can not find the setting in static mesh, the setting only in that when i drag the mesh to env. then select the mesh in the env, the setting will show on the right tool bar.
so, Is there a way to check the Generate Overlap Events setting only one click, instead of drag to env then select to check?
because, when i drag to check, every time for drag mesh need to check…

Much easier if you put the mesh in a blueprint, surround it with a collision volume.
