Hello Unreal Community,

I’m excited to share the latest project, Viking theme cinematic a vast landscape with a growing little village representing a tribe of animal of the eagle. Many assets were from Megascans and free marketplace assets, in addition using PCG to place level instance assembly village structures, and Houdini for creating procedural bridge and farming plot. Used Gaea to create the mountains and rolling hills. Setup rig and Weight paint in Maya for MetaHumens.

The framing shots of your project really highlight the beauty of what you created. Especially the slow pan up showing the distance from the village below.

If I may ask, how long did this project take?

I worked on this project on and off for over a year and a half. I’d guess I spent around 80 to 100 hours on it, give or take.

After recently binging a Viking show, this was so genuinely awesome to experience. The environment was stunning, the armor and weaponry were historically accurate, and that “makeup” was nothing short of totally rad :smiley: Do you currently have plans to create more projects similar to this one?
