the asset in my library could not be downloaded.

Summary

as you can see in the screenshot, this free asset already in my library, but when I click the download button, the error msg is “To access Unreal Engine files, add the asset to your Library.”
but as you can see, this page shows that “Saved in my library”. that means I can’t add the asset to my library again.
I hope some one could help me to fix it. thank you.

PS. I also try in my Epic launcher, I can’t find this asset in my library via search the name. I also tried to refresh the library, it doesn’t work either.

Steps to Reproduce

  1. click download.
  2. got the error msg.

Expected Result

when I click the download, it should be like other asset ask me to select the one that I want to download.

Observed Result

when I click the download, the system told me that I dont have this asset in my library

Hi there. We’re aware of this issue and are working to fix it. As a workaround:

  1. Open UE and find the Fab plugin under the Window dropdown.
  2. Open the “Dark Ruins” listing (either from search or the Quixel profile)
  3. Click “Add to my library”
  4. Now open the Epic Games Launcher, click on Unreal Engine in the lefthand navigation, then Library in the top navigation, and refresh the Fab library.
  5. Dark Ruins should now appear in the Vault and you can use it to start your project.
