When crafting each character, a short backstory is written to inspire the many nuances that go into visualising someone.

Pavaki:

Pavaki learned early on that rules were just stories powerful people told others so they wouldn't be inconvenienced, and she made it her hobby to rewrite them in public. The night the council welded shut the old pedestrian bridge to “discourage gathering,” she showed up with a borrowed bolt-cutter, a headlamp, and a grin sharp enough to draw blood, snipping the chain link by link. The river raged underneath, drowning the sounds of her transgressions. She wasn’t reckless, not exactly, just allergic to obedience: she mapped patrol routes, traded favors for access codes, and left behind small, defiant signatures. A strip of red cloth tied where cameras couldn’t see, a hand painted arrow pointing toward freedom. By dawn, the bridge was open again, people crossing in cautious disbelief, and there, on the metal plate the council had stamped with NO TRESPASSING, Pavaki had etched a new line with a nail: IF YOU CAN READ THIS, YOU’RE FREE.
