Texturing Ncloth alembic file in UE5

Hello,
I have created an nCloth alembic file and I would like to apply a material from megascans on it in UE5.1.
The mesh was UV mapped before creating the simulation.
When I export obj stills from the simulation I can apply the megascan material perfectly. However, when I try to apply the same materials on the alembic mesh, they just appear as a plain colour.
I have tried to import it as both a skeletal mesh and a geometry cache but nothing changed.
