I created two layers for images (geometry and texture). Images are called the same but under different folders. When viewing a single photo inside RC and pressing ctrl+tab I can see that files path change between geometry and texture. It means RC can read both images.
My problem starts when I go to the texture settings. In “Texturing image layer” I can’t change it from geometry layer to texture layer even though both layers are available on the list. Why is that? Will RC use geometry layer only while texturing even though I have two layers?
Looking forward to any advice/ help with that!
I followed your advice.
1.) Clean the cache from the main settings
2.) Restart RC with shift held down > Reset the settings.
3.) Load the project
Unfortunately, the problem still exists. Both Coloring image layer and Texturing image layer settings cant be changed and they remain on the geometry layer ;/
I noticed that I can’t change the layer if I import point cloud as a first input and then photos as a second input. If I do it the other way (photos first and then point cloud) I can change the layer straight away.
Pretty weird but solve my problem.
Hi @RED.CHEN2020,
how are your layers set? After import can you see the layer in 2D view (by pressing TAB key)? Are you importing the images in one step? Are you using only images or also another data source?
