Textures overwritten when re-importing model using Direct link.

Hi,

if I import a model via direct link and change some textures in Twinmotion, when I update the model in my program and sync it with direct link, the textures I changed are replaced and returned back to the textures from my modeling software.

I’m working with Vectorworks 2022 and Twinmotion 2022.1. / 2022.1.1.

I’ve read about using “Substitution Table” but it seems a bit elaborate to me.

Thank you for posting in the community and sorry to hear about the troubles. Could you let me know what Collapse method you are using with Direct-Link and if you are changing the name of the Vectorworks file at all when the textures are being reset to the default look. Maybe try to use Collapse by Material or the udatasmith format to see if the behavior is the same.

Please contact us directly so we can properly investigate if the issue is with Twinmotion or the plugin with Vectorworks.
