I’m running a model of 3477 images. The point Cloud looks great and every time I run the textured mesh it fails. Anyone got any suggestions?

what are your HW parameters? What are your texture settings?
What error did you get? Also, what are your Unwrap settings?
Do you have computed mesh or just the alignment?
It used to say in corrupt / incomplete I cant remember the rest now but now when I hit texture it just doesn’t complete processing (It doesn’t process). I have tried clearing the cache, I’ve also moved the temporary files onto a bigger drive to make sure it has enough space.

Where do you find the unwrap settings?
Can you please run the texturing again and screen shot the error? It is different if it is corrupted or incomplete.
The unwrap setting are in Color and Texture settings as Default unwrap parameters.
Can you try Clean install, not just clearing the cache:
- reinstalling and updating Nvidia drivers,
- removing cache (navigate to your cache location and remove the cache folder)
- Please try to “make it like a clean install” (this will reset your settings to default in the process):
In order to do that:
- Shift + Double LeftMouseClick on RealityCapture icon
- From drop-down select make it like a clean install and press ok
Also, can you try to compute just Unwrap first and then texture your model?

I have uninstalled the graphics card drivers and reinstalled Reality Capture, I also completely removed the cache folder. I then did that clean install of reality pressing shift and clicking. Tried to to texture the model and got this error

Can you try Fixed texel size? And also set 100 for Large triangle removal. This message means that unwrap cannot be created with the current settings. This happens when you have a large model and you use e.g. the default unwrap parameters while the unwrapping style is set to Maximal textures count and the textures count is set to 1. In this case RealityCapture (RC) cannot fit the whole texture into one.
Please change the default unwrap parameters in the RECONSTRUCTION tab – Settings – Coloring/Texturing, or use the Unwrap tool (located in the RECONSTRUCTION tab) with different unwrap parameters. You can, for example, change the unwrapping style to Fixed texel size so that RC creates as many textures as needed according to the other parameters. Alternatively, as stated in the error message, you can preserve the unwrapping style and raise the maximum number of textures or their resolution.
