Texture Variation Node Cause Tears

I was following UnrealityBites’ Landscape Material serie. Texture variation nicely randomize texture but also cause tears on texture. Is there a way to blend it? Or some other ways to randomize landscape texture?

Theres dithering options. I don’t know is there any use of it?

The texture variation node is pretty coarse. No good for close up, unless it’s a very confusing texture.

Best way is to change UV scale by camera distance :slight_smile:

If the texture looks tiled underneath your feet, then it’s one of

1 UV scale is too high

2 Texture is no good
