Texture Planar mapping + orientation/coorinates


I have applied a road texture to a long planar face and used a planar mapping mask parameter so that the texture was mapped correctly onto the plane (it would otherwise map following the existing edges and look distorted here and there).

Now I would like to change its orientation but I can see it is not possible to connect multiple nodes to the UV’s texture sample node. I have tried by simply adjusting the texture size but I can get the dotted road line to be at the centre of the road.

I am wondering if anyone knows how to do this? I have included some pictures to illustrate my question (including one for the texture itself).
