Many people do not know but you can migrate the TextRender from UE to UEFN and this is such a useful thing. You don’t need events ect just a simple thing to display text in the world.
I use this a ton including for organization for editor only things but i also use it for in game stuff ie…
This is such a useful thing and would help creators in the interim to be able to have a comp that harnesses all the abilities of the TextRender into a component without any events ect just the ability to have the text.
We don’t need the ability to change text at runtime but to have this be able to display text within a pre defined entity would be such a huge feature currently and would make many creators happy ![]()
I have no issue using it as i am currently but i feel this could be created into a simple component just for creators to use in the interim until something more concrete it created like the billboard.
The setup is there it just needs making into a component ![]()
