Not sure if this is really an issue. I have the typical notes scattered throughout the level. The player interacts with the E icon and reads notes. But I don’t know how to make paragraphs in texts. Currently, long texts look like a brick wall and are completely inconvenient to read.
Any suggestions on how to create a simple widget or blueprint for this type of interaction system?
I would be extremely grateful as this is the last thing left to twick in the project before drop it to the world (worked on it for about 3 months for my portfolio).
I’m using an ALS controller, tried various systems from Youtube tutorials but couldn’t get them to work as I don’t know how to combine them with ALS systems, since this is my first (and god it was panful) encounter with blueprints.
I don’t need any fancy systems as this is a level blockout for my portfolio. I only need a simple text overlay with the ability to write it in paragraphs. The example from my screenshot is really enough, I just want to add paragraphs for UX reasons. Other two screenshots for blueprint logic and widget called by that blueprint.
