Text Reviews Missing

Hi, I noticed even before FAB launched, many users were already discussing similar concerns in both FAB and marketplace issues. One of the key points repeatedly mentioned was the importance of having text reviews in both the review and question sections. Why weren’t these features carried over, or better yet, why not just halt FAB altogether until these problems are resolved? The wishlist feature has also been a source of frustration for many users.

Overall, the only notable addition seems to be the professional license option, while everything else feels like a downgrade. Text reviews in the question section are essential because they help developers avoid answering the same questions repeatedly, and they provide clearer insights into why a product received a certain rating. This allows developers to understand what needs improvement and what features are well-liked, making it easier for buyers to filter and choose products they want to purchase. Without text reviews, star ratings lose their meaning.

Dang! I didn’t notice that text reviews and questions were gone! :grimacing: Yes, please, we need them back! :sob::sob: They’re super helpful in deciding which asset is worth buying. Being able to get questions answered right under the asset, see useful reviews, and check if the author is replying to customers is essential. Plus, filtering out negative reviews from inexperienced users is important.

I see it all the time: people unfamiliar with UE giving authors 1 star because they expected models to come with the code, or they thought the blueprint would be a one-click solution, etc. I really want to see why exactly an asset is rated the way it is. Whether it’s a good rating or a bad one, the most important part is understanding why. Without that context, the rating alone doesn’t help much in making a decision.
