Hi all.
I am trying to add a text render component to my new structures, but I can’t seem to get them to work. I have the text render added as a component and it shows on my structures, but I can’t get it to give me the option for editing the text in game. I’ve dug through the blueprints for the signs in the game, as they operate like I want this structure to, but I haven’t found anything useful in their defaults, components, or graphs (maybe I’m not looking in the right place). I’ve reparented the blueprint for my structure to the sign base BP as a test and this function worked fine when I did that but had “change sign text” as the default action, which I do not want.
Any ideas about what I need to do, or where I need to look to find the components/logic/anything else I might need to make this work?
