Hello, I’ve built a foyer with a very long red carpet. I would like to integrate a text on the PBR material so that it also takes on the depth effect of the previous texture (like the link below). How do I do this?
Is your text in the material? Do you have a pic of what you have so far?
I only have the red carpet ready with a PBR texture and would like to include the text on the material (without a TextRender).
Hey @RobertM1987! Welcome to the Forums!
I believe what @ClockworkOcean meant was can you share a screen of the material graph itself? Understanding what you have done there will help give a better understanding of what you need.
Any additional specifics you provide may go a long way in solving your problem!
I made this material
It looks like this
You can get rid of the moiré effect using camera fade

Hey @RobertM1987!
Checking in. Was @ClockworkOcean’s example above the solution you were looking for?
Hello and first of all, thank you for the warm welcome here in the forum and the suggested solutions! =)
I’ve rebuilt it and it works!
Is it possible to include the text as a “font” instead of an image? (and move the size and location of the text?)
And how could I import it on a PBR carpet texture instead of a red colour?
Because the text is really long and if I import it as 1x1 size .jpg it would be a really big image. Maybe the quality suffers?
Thanks a lot and have a nice week!
Nope, not easily
Exactly the same way. This is just a very cut down example.
That’s just it, it’s not. This is showing you how you can take one para, and repeat it over the whole carpet.
