How is Texel calculated?
I made 2 versions of tank model.
First with only smart oblique mission (P1 35mm).
Second with same mission + manual from sides.
I expected different texel size, but I got same result on both models, which is 3mm.
I did not captured data, just processed it so I dont know exact distance, but I do know manual capture was done closer to object.
Any input is appreciated.
Hi @Rango986 ,
what were your texture and unwrap settings?
Basically, optimal texel size is a size of a texel corresponding to the smallest detail captured by images.

Hi @OndrejTrhan
Unwrap was fixed texel size, set on optimal.
Textures were set on Geometric, 8K and large triangle treshold on 500.
All other setting were default.
Have you checked that texel size in the Selected model panel under texturing?

Hi, yes, it was the same in both scenarios.
OK, so probably it is like that naturally.
