Testing Xbox 360 Controller

Hello, I’m having trouble getting input from wired xbox 360 controller. I started with a top down template then added A,S,W,D movement. I’d like to also add left joystick movement from gamepad. I have in the Project Settings Input, Gamepad Left Thumbstick Y - Axis for my up and down and Gamepad Left Thumbstick X - Axis for left to right movement. I also have Shoot as Gamepad Right Trigger and Bite as Gamepad Right Shoulder. (These both have keyboard functions that work just fine as well)
However, when I’m testing the game, the xbox 360 controller does nothing.

Ive checked my Device Manager on my Windows 10 PC and the Xbox 360 Peripherals is downloaded with all updated drivers. Am I missing something in Blueprints or should these be working off the bat and my cord is just messed up or something. The controller lights up and flashes for awhile but never sets on player 1 or anything like that.

It can be a bug with Unreal Engine 4.25 Preview try an older version

Just fixed that, I’m on 4.24. I imagine that statement holds true that I’m just getting a bug? I have PS4 Controllers, I’ll probably try and use DS4 drivers for them and see if that works.

go to Control Panel > Devices and Printers > Right Click on your controller > Game controller settings > Properties

do all the buttons/axis work properly here?

Hmm… Properties says “The device is working properly”

looks like something’s wrong. There should be a picture of the controller, like this :

Maybe you don’t have the driver for the Xbox 360 controller
