Testing alignment settings with Draft?

I read through all the help and the forums, but I don’t find a clear statement to my question.

Can I use the Draft button to test for the best alignment settings?

the default draft is mostly about a preview of your reconstructed data

I would say no.

The reason is that it is optimized for speed on the expense of quality.

It might even be possible in some cases that you can get more images aligned with the draft mode than the proper one.

On the other hand if the draft mode will not get one component, the normal mode will probably also fail.
