My colleagues and myself have been working on a marsh project for a while now and we are trying to add tessellation on the landscape but to no avail. We tried all logical things to do in the landscape shader but even thought it was properly triangulated, it did not do any deformation at all. We searched on most resource to try to find what could cause the problem but we did not find anything that helped us get through that. If anyone here could give us a hand to find out what is the cause of the problem, we’d be really grateful. (in the worst case, we can always use parallax occlusion but we’d like to see if it is possible to fix the problem. Here is a few picture to help you see the overall problem we are having.
