Temporarily deactivate image exif grouping?

I am risking the question and getting ready to duck:
Is there a way to temporarily deactivate the exif grouping without changing all the settings in the individual images?

If you just ungroup all settings remain.
But if you align after this - seetings will adjusted per image.

What I meant is the settings of the groups, so 0, 1, 2 etc.
I want the settings to remain but not to take effect via a button.
Otherwise, I have to group them again and that can be tricky if there are several groups.
I think it makes sense for being able to try out if and how much it would improve an alignment.
Or to go back and forth between grouping and reprojection error tightening and ungroupung etc…
So there is no such button, right?
