This is possibly more of an inconvenience than a bug, that’s why I haven’t posted this so far. I think this was there all the time in UE.
When I’m importing more animations at the same time (e.g. copy 20 animations into the project folder) and start clicking on Import (I think same applies when clicking on Import All, which will still cause the import dialogue pop up for every of the 20 animations), if I click fast enough, the whole import process will freeze for some time.
By clicking fast I don’t mean necessarily some crazy button smashing just to make it hard for UE :). It’s more of a “sitting there and just waiting for the import dialogue to pop up for every animation and when the dialogue appears and by chance I’m fast enough” the freeze will happen.
This freeze lasts long enough to be noticeable and inconvenient, sometimes it can take 10-30 seconds for UE to resume the import process.
Judging from looking and the progress bar, this is some very specific period of time when UE detects the new animation, pops up the dialogue, but still didn’t have enough time to “process something that is needed for the import to continue”.
