Hey Unreal Engine forums! It’s been a while! It’s been crazy at work for a good while and I’ve just finished my contract so I’m going out of my cave again. Yay! Feels really good to do some personal work again.
It’s still heavy work in progress but here’s what I’ve got after a good week on it. Mood is quite different than the concept but it’s a work in progress. I’m not sure if I’ll be aiming for such a soft ambiant lighting look though (and might just not be possible with sharp realtime shadows hehe)… anyway
Final piece will be animated with a full day&night cycle (hopefully with sounds as well) and some animation to bring some life to the diorama.
I’m also hoping to do a little rts character unit that I can walk around in UE to just mess with the feeling of making a realtime RTS game with this environment
