Tank controls with free first person camera?

I am making a first person submarine game and I want the player to control the submarine’s movement with the keyboard, and have limited freedom to look around in first person with the mouse. In other words, I can’t seem to figure out how to control the sub via keyboard with the camera following the general rotation of the sub, but still allowing the player to look around. Currently, I’ve got all the movement controls done via enhanced inputs… just the stupid camera movement is messing me up.

Solved it. For anybody finding this later, my issue was simple- I was trying to apply rotation to the controller instead of the camera. I added a split 2D vector action mapping to the relative rotation of the camera. X → yaw Y → pitch.

Hope this helps anybody with the issue down the road.
