Landscape architecture plays an increasingly important role in the development of large, multidisciplinary projects, becoming crucial to the perception of the project from a humanistic and environmental perspective, yet it often struggles to fully engage with traditional BIM, computational design processes, and accurate real-time visualization. These traditional workflows fail to address key characteristics of the landscape design process, ultimately alienating this discipline from the mainstream of other stakeholders’ collaboration methodology and hindering the collective design of the project.
This session discusses the particular challenges faced by landscape architects and explains a new digital design workflow for the effective design development, integration, delivery, and presentation of landscape projects.
