If you are a talented 3D artist and want to build a fun and trippy VR experience please consider us. We build a small team of really talented people for a VR experience with several chapters.
What we look for is someone who is interested in a long term commitment who can completely focus on this project and is easy to work with. This is a fulltime position and you can work from home.
You get a base salary and once we ship the experience also a cut of the profits. Most people we hired for our business in the last years are part of the tribe / family now and we want to build this kind of team for this project as well.
What will your work look like?
- Calls via Skype (no video so you can work in underwear!), files passed around via Slack / Dropbox and so on, project planning in Trello
- Modeling game assets and creating animated characters / creatures. Lots of creative freedom thats why we look for someone with style and creativity besides just technical skills.
- Brainstorming ideas how to make the VR experience more awesome.
While I don’t talk too many details about the project, we have a clear way of monetizing this, clear target audience and I also know a couple of people in the VR scene that might help to raise awareness for what we do.
If this sounds interesting, please send me an email to [at] gausslabs.com
Please send a basic CV (just a bit data, age, location, education, previous jobs, bullet point list is fine) and links to your portfolio.
Please also write about any other design or game dev related skills you have and how much time you could spend working on this project starting from mid July. We are a bit flexible with the starting date too.
Other things I would like to know are your hobbies and if you have experience working from home.
Anything else to get to know you as a person is cool too (Facebook for example). We are really easy going and open minded so if you are into knitting purple baby animals in your free time and your Facebook picture is a goat you will fit right in.
