UE4.27
My level has all of a sudden started taking more than 30 minutes to save.
I have removed resource intensive items from the level and that has not sped up the save process.
I have also deleted the DerivedDataCache, Intermediate, and Saved folders and it did not fix the issue.
I have reinstalled the engine and it did not fix the issue.
I have tried the level in UE5.1 and it did not fix the issue.
It seems to hang on 54% for most of the process.
Has anyone else had this happen and how did you fix it, please?
Is there anyone at all that provide useful information on this subject?
Run the engine with the -LOG parameter to see what the engine is getting stuck at
I do not understand -LOG.
It gets stuck here.
I have searched through search engines and found nothing about “-LOG parameter”.
I am really hoping to get some information on this on the forums as the company does not seem to have any.
I figured it out.
I just moved my project to my SSD and it takes about 15 seconds to save.
I was hoping that a more experienced user would have known this and let me know.
I am posting my answer in case another user has the same issue and they have an SSD with enough room for their project to work with.
i’m Saving file in SSD 1 TB in local disk, still we facing this issue
