Tail physics, with animation skeleton?

Hello.

I have a squirrel in my, when I move it around the tail mostly stick straight out, and I was wondering if there was a way to use the animation skeleton parts, in the tail, to kind of give it physics, and make it sway a bit with the squirrel’s movement?

hi,
here is a great example how you can fully animate your character. (tails, wings,…)

hope this helps you

cheers :vulcan_salute:

Hey @RegularSquirrel!

If the above tutorial is a bit too much (it’s really good! But it isn’t super specific to your needs) Try this one out! 3 minutes and you’ll know how to apply rigidbody to any kind of tail

The first dragon video helped me learn advanced techniques. The second video assisted with getting things setup. And the following video helped me finally get my character’s tail working how I’d like! Sharing this here for people who need further assistance in the future; this third video especially assists with anim bp setup and the like… https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=7-10YIH5-Vg

these guys are so tone deaf, who is actually gonna sit there observe 29 minutes of one guy playing with a silly 3d model, like make real tutorials. 2-3 minutes top.
