A turn-based tactical RPG set in post-apocalyptic Guangzhou — specifically Haizhu District. Built in Unreal Engine. There is nothing like this in the genre — Cantonese-centric in setting, culture, and story. The closest comparison is Sleeping Dogs, and that’s a completely different genre set in Hong Kong.
Think Dragon Age but turn-based on a grid. Think Fallout but Guangzhou. Combat is deep, tabletop-inspired tactical systems. Dialog runs on a wheel with a voiced protagonist — choices log into a color-coded scroll history (diplomatic, aggressive, sarcastic) in a style similar to Disco Elysium’s text flow.
Voices are currently AI-generated in English — Cantonese VO is a goal, not a reality yet.

What exists: functioning combat, dialog system, quest framework, complete story, original lore set in southern China.
What’s needed most: a project manager / coordinator — someone to handle team organization and communication. No technical background required, just someone who’s efficient and organized. Also looking for environment artists to bring the world to life.
