I have a question about using certain assets from Synty Studios in Unreal Editor for Fortnite. Are these assets risking my account of getting banned? It is Synty Studios IP but I have paid hundreds of dollars for assets from them, made games in Unreal Engine with them without being copyrighted and have seen multiple games made in other engines published without problems of copyright. I know Fortnite is a PEGI 12 game they don’t allow things like blood which some of these assets have. My next question is as long as I don’t use assets that break TOS from these creators, do I still risk my account getting banned?
If you have acquired the assets officially, then you have the right to use them wherever you want. It’s just that in this case they are adapted for Unity and Unreal engine.
You just need to learn the rules for using assets. For example, humblebundle discount kits can only be used (and profited from) by a solo developer, not by a team. If you want to call these sets of assets as a team, then you need to purchase them either on the official website or in the UE Marketplace.
I also purchased these kits, I had questions and I contacted them in official support. If you do not understand something or have questions, it is better to write to them, support responds quickly enough.

You can only upload UEFN Content if you have rights to grant Epic the licenses described above. Those rights may come from the fact that things are your original creation or from the permission that others have granted you to use materials they created.
*Just remove the explicit death and blood animations, you can replace them with the death (dispersal) animation from Fortnite and make the blood green like in the PUBG version for China or flying out money.
I hope you get interesting maps, games and modes. Assets from Synty are really cute.
So I should be okay to use them because all of the assets I have aquired I have bought from Synty. I just don’t want to risk a ban on my account if these assets are considered bannable.
