Synchronising child animations on parent

Hi Guys,

I’m not sure if this is a noobish question (It’s my first on these forums). How difficult is it, or what is the best way, to synchronise a different part’s animations on an object? As an example a mech where you’re able to replace the legs with wheels, or treks, replace the arms with guns, and such. So each would have their own unique animation. Would it be a difficult thing to organise a system where you could choose the animation sets and how they blend together dynamically based upon the objects the player has chosen to put together?
