I want to make it so when my character picks up a gun, the mesh stays forward so you can aim your weapon, and when you don’t have a weapon, it goes back to third person controls. I don’t actually want to change the camera perspective - just the functionality.
I tried enabling “Use Controller Rotation Yaw”, but the character still turns slightly when I move around. … so I tried creating a secondary skeletal mesh that is attached to the camera and then switching the visibility of the two meshes depending on which one is active. This works great, except the entire character rotates when I move the pitch of the camera. Check out the video to see what I’m talking about. There’s got to be a way to lock the
