I am relatively new to Unreal Engine and Virtual Production. Currently, I am working on setting up a Virtual Production Studio with an LED wall, but I would like to test everything on one of my monitors at home first.
I have set up nDisplay but am experiencing issues with Switchboard. Despite entering the correct IP of my PC, Switchboard fails to maintain a connection. It worked once, but I have been trying for hours without success. The Switchboard Listener briefly shows “connected” in green and then immediately switches to “disconnected”
I have also tried the setup on my laptop, and everything works perfectly there. However, when I try to control the main PC from the laptop and enter its IP, it briefly connects and then immediately disconnects. I have tried running the program as an administrator and reinstalling dependencies, but unfortunately, it didn’t help.
Attached are some screenshots of Switchboard and Switchboard Listener:
Thank you for your help. I had seen the post before and actually tried it… apparently, I just did something wrong. I just have to remove it again after using it. Now almost everything works. Previously, everything worked but for some reason, I got a black screen. Also, is it possible to adjust the quality of the outer frustum? And also the inner frustum? When I enter my monitor dimensions, the display is accordingly smaller and then the quality of the inner frustum is extremely poor but the outer frustum is very good.
