So,when I close a unreal project from the switchboard, all the nodes or part of go out of sync systematically and randomly. What is the problem?
This has been happening for years now. Is it possible that there is no solution? We have 20 render nodes, and it’s frustrating to have to restart and resync everything every time, especially when it wastes time during film production.
Has anyone found a solution?
It seems that with the latest NVIDIA driver update R580 U5 (581.80) the situation has worsened.
Hi @Cool_P
We are investigating this issue, what GPU model do you have? Also is this a dual GPU setup with Multi-Process or Multi-GPU, or perhaps just single GPU?
In the meantime you should be able to “softkill” all nDisplay nodes which should avoid you needing to restart. You can do this by sending the command “quit” via the switchboard console.
