Switch material issue with translucent material

Hi everyone
Yesterday, thanks to @Supremative i set up a nice switch materials blueprint for my archviz project. At this point i have an issue.
Everything works fine except for when i try to use a translucent material in the switcher. It automatically apply to my object the default material grid

If i use an opaque material in the switch, it just works fine
i need to use a translucent material, because the goal here is to create some sort of x ray view

Have you tried to set the translucent material directly in the level editor? Does it work?

i don’t really get what you mean by “set translucent mat directly in the level editor”
I create it in the content drawer and then modify it in his MaterialUI Tab
Is that another way to do it?

Okay.
First, check what material is assigned.

the string is correct as it show the name of my x ray material, but the resul is still the material grid


Try to set the material directly with drag and drop.
