I’m a little late I feel, but seeing the progress all at once is so fascinating. From your initial beginnings all the way up to where you currently are with your modular building. It’s been a lovely experience getting to watch and see.
Out of curiosity, do you intend to make some aspects customizable in game? Like colored roofs or items along that nature?
I am thinking of integrating a system for painting constructions with dyes to give more freedom to builders.
And add other tier of constructions, another decorations meshes, like chairs, furniture, chandeliers, torches etc …

That would be awesome. Would this count towards the wood or would there just be alternative wood types?
Decorations are not in tier, but it doesn’t matter whether it’s a tier or not, the system allows you to make variants.
For the moment I am thinking in particular of making a brick tier like a Victorian style .
This Victorian-style wall came out great for your first draft! Keep going; I know it’ll only get better.

The Victorian tier is set aside for the moment, time to work on a big update for the construction system, in particular to add multi (replication session & dedicated).
A painting system to recolor structures
A radial menu for interactions
I also modify the destruction mode to have a niagara effect which replaces chaos destruction for more fluidity and optimization
