Surface material texture

Hello. maybe lame question, but how can i make grid go to one direction and size so it can look like on left side after merging objects?

It’s not lame at all.

This is a UV mapping problem.

There are a few standard ways to fix it

. Move the mesh to something like Blender, fix, and bring back.

. Fix the UVs in the editor. I haven’t actually used the UV editor in the engine, not sure how easy that is.

. Use a world aligned material, which just ignores UVs
