Support UV from Hit Results/Find Collision UV causes Crash

I was replicating the height map painter from 4.13 in 4.15. I had copied the blueprints directly from teh content examples into a blank project.

I began to modify the code to use the “Find Collision UV” node.

These are the only things I’ve changed from the content example.

Then made sure the blueprints compiled properly. After that, I played the PIE both in editor window and in new window.

For clarity, I followed the blueprint shown in your Twitch stream on render tarets: Twitch

After a few moments of implementing the left-click functionality of the painter, the editor crashes. I’ve submitted numerous crash reports at this point.

At first I thought this might be an issue with migrating the 4.13 content to the 4.15 project, so I redownloaded the content examples for 4.15 and migrated the updated heightmap painter files to a NEW blank project.

After going through the same motions again, I get the same results. After a few moments of Left-Click functionality, the engine crashes.

The crash also occurs in the content examples project when the same changes are made.

Using UE4.15.2

Windows 10 (64bit)
i7-6800k @3.4ghz
GTX 1080ti SLI
64gb RAM
480 SSD

I made the changes you mentioned in the RenderToTarget content example but I was unable to get the crash to occur.

Could you post your Call Stack? Make sure to include your EpicID and MachineID. And please post your full crash logs as well.

Can you upload a stripped down version as a test project? That would help me reproduce this internally.
