Support for two control rigs at the same time

I would like to know why isn’t possible to control two control rigs at the same time. I would like to make a reload animation for the weapon but if I select the character I can’t select the controls of the weapon anymore like in the video.

I know this is not supported in 5.0 but is there a chance to add this feature in the future?

have no idea if this works but maybe you can press CTRL and then click on each rig.
