That’s the plan 
You can see the list in the first post for most of the major planned features. After the next update, which is mainly focused on mobile and 2D, the next will be for XCOM-style tactical squad based games, with multi-level grids, cover systems, advanced combat abilities (such as overwatch), fog-of-war etc.
