Suggestions for Modelling Workflow / Polaycount

Hey Guys,

I’m totally confused about how much Polygons I should spend on my Models & whats the best practice.

In my Case its for Visualization in Unreal .

In my past I usually used Turbosmooth with 3 iterations but I guess its an Overkill.

What workflow do you recommend for small features like this & also in general ?

  1. LP

  2. Beveled edges with 2 segments

  3. Beveled edges with 4 segments

  4. Turbomooth with 3 iterations

would you use for this a low poly model with a projected normal map from HP ?

A converted highpoly Model & then delete unnecessary polygons ?
