[SUGGESTION] UE4 Marketplace Shared Game Design Guidelines

Hello, I have briefly checked marketplace guidelines but could not find a similar topic around, so sorry if this kind of guideline for asset creators already exist.

I have a suggestion for the marketplace that maybe enable use of multiple assets acquired from different asset creators in a much better way. It is sometimes a hit or miss to match your favorite texture pack to your favorite character asset. Will it be helpful if designers and Epic create a set of different soft asset/design templates for different styles of graphics and games like color codes and material guidelines?

If content creators agree on such styles with marketplace integration: developers searching for a “low poly style by X Studio | Epic | User” asset in Unreal Marketplace may find and use multiple creators’ assets complying to those soft guidelines quickly. I love the variety the marketplace offers. These guidelines would never be a requirement but an extra channel for different creators to merge their assets much seamlessly in the same project.

This I think would be a win-win as it would create new opportunities for asset creators and enhance prototyping and overall game quality for developers.

Hello Joura,
You asked this question about sharing designs. Did you get any responses or did the conversation continue at all? I’m working with game designers and PHDs at Univ. of California, and we’re working on ideas to match normal game developers with professional game designers… and the possibility of submitting designs for professional review (either for a cost or not, tbd). So your question is somewhat related to it and how it went will matter.
Love to hear from you!
