Suggestion on cleaning copy/paste maps up

I was sat thinking about all the copy/paste maps. Someone will create a template ie brainrot then sell it on their patreon. After some time the map will turn free and itll be passed about and thus starts the saturation of the ecosystem.

1. Can epic make it against the rules to firstly sell/share maps/templates in there entirety ?
  1. Can Epic put something in some project file only accessible to Epic and not editable via text editor ect so only the creator can use the map. I’m sure every creator has a unique id it wouldn’t be hard surely to do a check ie if this map creator code isn’t the original creator then the new creator cannot publish. Could be a check when you come to publish ???

Just adding these 2 things would help somewhat with the ecosystem. It would reward original creators again and not gangs of people publishing template maps just to cash grab.

Just a thought.

If anyone else has any suggestions then feel free to add to this post. I feel this is the main issue currently. Everyone see’s copy/paste maps but what can we do about it. I feel the 2 options above would only strengthen the system. It would get rid of a lot of bad actors as many of these people dnt know about creating/dont know verse ect ect they simple copy a project paste it in and publish and although Epic say they have spam filters ect recent x posts show this is not working.

Just to throw in an extra thing do something with verse scripts too so this again cannot be shared about. Within friends on a team ect its fine but this entire thing is being abused and the actual creators are paying the price and suffering while gangs of exploiters are reaping the rewards.
